Richmond

We've been to Tigerland (at least some of it...Richmond that is). Its a big suburb, we had two special guest photographers (Robyn and Stephen), who put on such a nice lunch that we nearly didn't get out of their Richmond based apartment! We managed to cover the parkland beside the Yarra river, Swan st and Church st up to Bridge Rd. Much more to see, we didn't even go past a vietnamese restaurant! That will have to wait for Richmond 2.

RICHMOND

Little green leaves green green every where

Big spikey monsters grabing you

To me this looks like a star

Cracks every where

Lots and lots of bricks

First is the nice green grass and second is the hard bike  path and third is the wet water

wow a train going up hill must be hard work

Train tracks

539

That is me in the reflection

Dimmey's! A Swan Street Icon - you'll not find a cheaper shirt anywhere else in town.

Jim and John - both locals. Jim (red hat) has lived here for 56 years and he is a wealth of information about Richmond - he would have happily given us a tour I think. John was a bit more reserved, and was a little suspicious of why I got so close with my camera. I bet you can find them sitting there every sunday, across the road from Dimmey's.

The Corner Hotel. A former Swan St Live music venue. Now closed down and a shadow of its former self.
Inside one of the Churches (St Ignatius) that gives Church St Richmond its name.

Outside St. Iggy's (is that disrespectful?)

Overwrought about this one.

Beautiful Crepe Myrtles at St Ignatius Church.

Oh dear, someone is going to be in trouble.
