It could be argued that Sorrento isn't really a suburb of Melbourne, but it is close enough in our book, and a great weekend at a beachy location was a great contrast to our previous rain-drenched visit to the CBD.

Is this an emerging theme? Mannequin hands?
The hat guy. I felt like I should have purchased one but it isn't really me.
The other famous hotel in Sorrento, called (strangely enough) The Hotel Sorrento. Subject of a movie by the same name.
A view of Sorrento foreshore, from the clifftop, accessed by a little known thoroughfare that meanders through the backyards of the poor millionaires who have to put up with a constant stream of sightseers.
Poor millionaires....
ReplyDeletePaddling that kayak uphill looks hard work.
Love the picture of the lollies!
Yes, the kayak looks gruelling, and the poor kid seems to be doing all the work. And the lollies... its pretty obvious the sort of things that catch Sarah's eye.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Did you go to a suburb this weekend? I spent time at South Melbourne Commons on a Permablitz.
