Dale's view
Foy and Gibson! This was the warehouse that supplied Australia's earliest dept store chain, commonly known as Foy's. That would probably have been annoying for poor old William Gibson and his family.
Proud Mary's cafe - great place to stop for lunch while photographing Collingwood
Any hack can get a sunset reflecting off the sea, but few have mastered the salt and pepper shakers reflecting off the table top.
One of the friendly waiters in Proud Mary's - with a very eye catching T shirt (from 'Threads' he informed me). This may be my first entry in the 'best T shirt of the day' category.
Looking south on Oxford St. Many old factories that have been converted into very trendy apartment buildings
I got the graffiti shot before Sarah (for a change)
Reminds me of my own lounge room back in the 60s (except my mum didnt have red hair)
For the recurring Terminator 2/mannikin theme
The most beautiful doorway in all of Collingwood
Gotta have at least one black and white shot in a photo tour of Collingwood
The Grace Darling hotel on Smith St
Peel St has many a rainbow
Peel St Festival folks...
The Doll's house. The smallest cottage in the southern hemisphere (or at least, the smallest in Collingwood...).
The old Yorkshire Brewery. From 1880 till 1890, it was Australia's tallest building I'll have you know!
Cafes and bars at the southern end of Smith St
A couple on their way home from the gay pride festival. Despite their friendly exuberance and christmas wishes, Sarah didn't have much to say to them. She later confided that something just wasn't quite right with these nice ladies.
Debbie's view
Santa might have a hard time with this chimney.
Proud Mary's, GREAT food, coffee, service and atmosphere.
Collingwood is a funky town, just look at who's playing
Looking.
The Gay Pride festival.
These gorgeous gals were only too happy to stop for a picky.
